The war on terror is a puzzle as we define it. One reason is because the war on terror has no rules. terrorist can do whatever they want. Secondly, there is also only one answer to the war on terror. the answer is to get rid of all the terrorist and all the leaders. Going on, it will be clear when the puzzle of terrorism is solved. This is because you will see no more attacks on helpless nations. Although the war on terrorism is not suitable for all ages it is still a puzzle.

I believe that geography does matter. You can tell that geography does matter because as you can see in our results we did not know where iraq was. also we did not know where sudan was and that s a major problem for kids today. i also think that geography is important because it is good to know where places are in the world. it will help you realize how fortunate you are to live in such a great country. Finally, i think that we should have history/geography class instead of just history classes.

I believe in having control of my destiny. When I was a young lad I experienced moving from the north (New Jersey) to the south (North Carolina). At this point in my life I had a very tough decision to make. Either I could stay inside and not have any friends, or I could go outside and make friends. Of course, as a average 5 year old would, I decided to go outside and make friends. Luckily enough I ended up making some of the best friends in my life. Although I was only 5 years of age, as I look back on it I had control of my destiny.
Another instance when i realized that i have control of my destiny was on a stormy day on the each in my hometown of wilmington north carolina. It all started that morning when my friend called me up and asked me if i wanted to try out surfing with him. knowing that a catorgy one hurricane was supposed to hit that afternoon i still wanted the thrill of riding a bag wave. So i went, as i did i had no regrets. i got into the water with my friends surfboard and i did not really know what i was doing. finally after paddling hard to get past the breakers i caught a wave. i rode it a long way but i when i fell off at the end i was dragged down into the water by the strong under toe. Again i was faced with a decission either fight the current and swim strait up, or swim parallel to the ocean floor and try to escape it. I chose option two and i got out. i do not even want to think about what would have happened if i would have chosen option one. thinking back on these stories makes me ponder on what my life would be like if I had decided not to make friends, or decided to swim strait up against the under toe, just to get pulled back down. Now that I know I have control of my destiny I i pledge to think about my actions and the consequences that go with them.

i shared my essay draft to three people. first i regrettably showed my room mate who turned me down and told me my essay was a complete joke. the second person i showed, my dorm parent, said that he agreed with my essay and that it was well written. I did not agree with the last part because i made it up on the top of my head. Finally, the final person i asked was a dormate who is on the hockey team. this person also told me they did not like the essay but i dont care about there input. although i got a 1 out of three i still believe in having control of my destiny.
